When a macOS device running macOS version 15.1 or above connects to a wireless network configured with WPA2-Enterprise (TKIP+AES), the following warning message is displayed:
Weak Security
WPA/WPA2 (TKIP) is not considered secure.
If this is your Wi-Fi network, configure the router to use WPA2/WPA3 Personal (AES) security type for this network.
This can be corrected by changing the SSID associated with the wireless network to use AES encryption only. Alternatively, WPA3-Enterprise or WPA2/WPA3-PSK mode can be used as the issue is not observed in either of those configurations.

If your access points are managed using Insight, you can change the encryption type on the SSID in the Insight Cloud Portal or via the Insight mobile app.
