Enhancements:
The AV UI provides the following enhancements:
- Added new profiles: Allen & Heath gigaACE/GX, Audio Genelec Smart IP, AVoIP Lightware AV network, Blustream Multicast, and Unite Audio.
- Added the “Add-Ports-Untagged-To-Profile” menu on the Network Profiles page: Use this menu to add ports to existing profiles by selecting the ports on the switch panel and selecting a profile from the menu.
- Added the configured system name to the switch model name on the Overview page and it displays above the switch image.
Bug Fixes:
- This firmware addresses the following bugs:
- Fixes the issue where the IGMP querier election process considers only the last octet of the IP address. [CE-5851]
- Fixes the issue where a stack of two GSM4328PS switches crash and the console becomes inaccessible. [MS-4182]
- Fixes the issue where M4300-96X switch crashes. [CE-5845]
- Fixes the issue where the switch intermittently crashes when you use the AV UI or Engage to manage the switch. [CE-5697]
- Fixes the issue where the ‘clear config’ CLI command causes the switch to crash. [CE-5424]
- Fixes the issue where the DHCP binding table in the main UI and CLI does not display all the IP addresses offered to the clients. [MS-4253]
- Fixes the issue where the PSU model number displays incorrectly on the M4300-96X switch. [CE-5541]
- Fixes the issue where switch automatically restarts when an email alert is configured. [CE-5937]
- Fixes the issue where a M4250, M4300 or M4350 switch connects to a M4500 MLAG domain, the M4500 switch reboots, and the AutoLAG between the M4250, M4300 or M4350 and M4500 domain does not occur. [MS-4306]
- Fixes other crash issues. [MS-4422, MS-4448]
This AV UI addresses the following bugs:
- Fixes the issue where CPU usage is high when the management VLAN is not default VLAN 1. [CE-6205] Fixes the issue where setting an access port to VLAN 1 tags VLAN 1 on all manual trunks. [CE-6189]
Known Issues:
This AV UI contains the following known issues:
- Enabling the DHCP server fails if you manage the switch over a management VLAN port that is part of the BirdDog AV Network profile or the Crestron DigitalMedia AV Network profile.
Workaround: Use the OOB port to manage the switch or configure the DHCP server with a non-management VLAN for the BirdDog AV Network profile or the Crestron DigitalMedia AV Network profile. - In stacking units, the AV UI profiles that were created on master units cannot be synced to member units. The profile on member units becomes a data profile.
Work Around: Create an AV UI profile separately on each stacking unit. - When the Audio Video Bridging (AVB) profile is created along with the AVoIP Lightware AV network, Blustream Multicast, Video, Video with AES67 audio, Video with Dante audio, or Visionary AV Network AV Network profiles, the MTU size remains 9198 on the AutoLAG/AutoTrunk ports.
Work Around: Manually change the MTU size to 1500 on AutoLAG/AutoTrunk ports.
This firmware contains the following known issues:
- After you upgrade the firmware from 12.0.9.x to 12.0.11.x or a newer release, when you use the main UI and you select Routing > Multicast > Mroute Static-Multicast Configuration, the page does not display automatically.
Workaround: After the firmware upgrade, clear your browser cache. - You cannot configure the Fanout setting for a standby member of a stack of M4300-96X switches using the AV UI.
Workaround: Use the main UI to configure the Fanout setting. - When you configure the Force Multicast or Block Multicast settings for a LAG in the AV UI, the configuration is successfully applied to the switch, but the Force or Block icons do not display on the LAG port.
- When you configure the Force Multicast or Block Multicast settings on one or several ports of a M4300-96X switch in the AV UI, the port status information (such as VLAN profiles, colors, and so on) no longer displays.
Workaround: Refresh the AV UI page. - When you change the enhanced hash mode for non-unicast traffic to balance a LAG, it affects the LAG balance for unicast traffic.
Workaround: Do not change the enhanced hash mode for non-unicast traffic if unicast traffic passes through the LAG.
Warnings:
Read and follow these warnings before updating your firmware:
- For user passwords, line passwords, and enable passwords that are encrypted with AES in firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases, automatic migration is supported to the more secure SHA512 in release 12.0.17.6 or later releases.
- User passwords, line passwords, and enable passwords that are encrypted with MD5 (salted) in firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases are not migrated to release 12.0.17.6 or later releases, so they must be set manually.
- SNMPv3 MD5 and SHA-based passwords from firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases are not migrated to release 12.0.17.6 or later releases, so they must be set manually.
General Information:
- The boot code remains at the existing version 1.0.0.17 in this switch firmware.
- AppMgr is upgraded to version 1.0.1.27 in this switch firmware.
