New Feature and Enhancements:
- Multiple WAN IP feature
The Multiple WAN IP address feature allows different LAN services to bind to different WAN IP addresses. The following features support the Multiple WAN IP feature:- Outbound NAT rules
- VPN
- Port forwarding
- IPSec site-to-site enhancements:
- Multiple VLAN support
- UI enhancements for easier use
- Dual WAN Rule enhancement:
- User-configured dual WAN rules take priority over the default failover rule. This allows you to better manage services for different Internet service providers (ISPs)
- SNMP:
SNMP is an Internet standard protocol used for managing devices on IP networks. The following SNMP features are supported:- Versions: SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, and SNMPv3
- Default and custom MIBs
- Polling and traps
Bug Fixes:
- Fixes the issue where a DHCP server still works after being disabled.
- Fixes the issue where DHCP option 15 does not work properly.
- Fixes the issue where a broken IPSec site-to-site tunnel does not reconnect automatically.
- Fixes the issue where IP reservation from Insight is ignored when the device name is empty.
Known Issues:
- A WireGuard full-tunnel VPN client cannot access its local network because all traffic is directed to the VPN tunnel.
Workaround: Disable the WireGuard client software “Block untunneled traffic” option or prevent the WireGuard VPN tunnel from accessing the local network. - In a Dual WAN configuration, an IPSec tunnel shows the status as “UP” on the secondary WAN interface while the primary WAN interface is active.
Workaround: The IPSec tunnel works on the active WAN interface. The other tunnel operates as a backup tunnel. - You can configure the OpenVPN IP address range for VPN clients in the same subnet as the LAN and WAN subnets.
Workaround: Configure the OpenVPN IP address range for VPN clients in a different subnet from the LAN and WAN subnets. - Clients that are connected over VPN cannot access the Internet if the site-to-site remote IP address is the same as an IP address in the range for VPN clients.
Workaround: Make sure that the site-to-site remote IP address does not conflict with an IP address in the range for VPN clients. - With more than one VLAN configured, the IP address of a connected client is not updated after the LAN IP address change
Workaround: Disconnect and reconnect the LAN port network cable. - The time stamp of a syslog entry does not adjust according to the local time zone.
Workaround: Interpret the log events according to the system time.
