Features and Enhancements:
This firmware provides the following features and enhancements:
- Upgrade of Linux OS
- Upgrade of the AV UI agent
- Upgrade of OpenSSL libraries
The AV UI provides the following enhancements:
- In the Network Profiles page, when you create a profile using profile templates, the “PTP residency time stamping” toggle button is present to enable or disable PTP TC setting for the profiles excluding Audio-Video AVB, SMPTE, Data, A&H, Nucleus, Sonos, Video NDI 4, Visionary, Video, and Lighting.
- A new application APP Manager is installed on the switch, the console command “show application” will only display “appmgr” with the version number. The AV UI, Rest Agent and Discovery agents are managed by App Manager.
Bug Fixes:
This firmware addresses the following bugs:
- Fixes the issue where updating the global TC setting changes the per-interface TC setting.
- Fixes the issue where the IP displays incorrectly when the DHCP lease time expires.
- Fixes the issue where the IGMP Plus is not removed when deleting a VLAN from VLAN database.
- Fixes the issue where an MLAG interface becomes inactive after reloading the switch.
- Fixes the 25G linkdown issue between M4500 to M4350 in MLAG config when using any group of four consecutive ports, such as 2-5 instead of 1-4.
- Fixes the issue where the QoS Policy binding on a MLAG member port is removed unexpectedly after you reload the peer device.
This AV UI addresses the following bugs:
- Fixes the issue where AV UI overwrites manually configured settings in the CLI when editing a profile in the AV UI. The AV UI only overwrites the profile related settings.
- Fixes the issue where it is not possible to edit the IGMP Querier setting in the AV UI.
- Fixes the issue where the 100G module link status displays incorrectly in AV UI.
- Fixes the issue where the port configuration in dark mode displays less contrast when the mouse hovers over the port.
- Fixes the issue where a manually configured trunk displays as Auto-Trunk.
- Fixes the issue where some ports do not display the IP addresses when the mouse hovers over the port in AV UI.
Known Issues:
- If you use the AV UI to create a manual LAG, PTP TC is not enabled if PTP TC profiles are present.
Workaround: Use the Main UI or CLI to enable PTP TC. - Before firmware version 7.0.3.21, there was an issue with firmware upgrades failing if the filename exceeded 32 characters.
- Downgrading from version 7.0.4.12 to version 7.0.3.21 or earlier will result in all profiles being converted to data profiles

Firmware Update Instructions:
Before version 7.0.3.21, you could only update the firmware for the switch image only, for example, M4500-v7.0.3.12_2.2.6.9.deb. That is, you cannot update the firmware that combines the switch image and Linux OS.
From version 7.0.3.21 to 7.0.4.12, you need to submit ONIE-installer (Linux OS) to upgrade to version 7.0.4.12
