Features and Enhancements:
- You can now use the new NETGEAR Discovery Tool (NDT) or the latest NETGEAR Insight app to discover the switch in the same subnet. The NDT supports UPnP, which is the preferred method of discovery.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixes the issue where the GUI displays the following alert when you enable Insight (see Dashboard > Insight):
- “Error: System Location can include alphabetic, numeric, dash, blank-space, or underscore characters only.”
Known issues:
- When you use Microsoft Edge to access the switch GUI, the Apply, Cancel, Delete, and Refresh buttons might appear larger than intended. When this occurs, the buttons are stacked vertically at the bottom of the browser window.
Workaround: Click the Auto-Hide icon at the bottom right of the browser window to hide the sidebar, or zoom out.

Firmware Update Instructions:
The released zip file contains the switch firmware and MIB files. Unzip the file to extract the switch image for firmware updating.
To update your product’s firmware, follow the instructions in your product’s user manual. To find your user manual, visit https://www.netgear.com/support/, enter your model number in the search box, and click the Documentation button on the product page.
