Bug Fixes:
- Fixes the issue where you might not be able to access the device UI after the switch’s IP address is changed or renewed multiple times.
- Fixes the issue where the device UI might become inaccessible when the IP address is changed.
- Fixes the issue where you cannot configure IPv6 addresses in the range of unique local addresses (fc00::/7).
- Fixes the issue that the EAP Success packets still flood after receiving EAPOL start packets.
- Fixes the issue when disabling Port Power on a port causes abnormal Overload Fault on other PoE ports.
Warnings and Instructions:
Read and follow these instructions before you update to firmware version 2.0.7.4 from an earlier version:
- After you update the firmware to version 2.0.7.4 or a later version, we recommend that you do not downgrade the firmware to version 2.0.6.x or an earlier version.
- Because HTTPS is disabled by default since firmware version 1.0.2.2, the device UI login page does not display automatically after you use HTTPS to update to firmware version 2.0.7.4. Open a new web browser tab and type the switch’s IP address to display the login page.
- In firmware version 2.0.7.4 or later versions, after you manually disable HTTPS, when you access the device UI over HTTP, you are automatically redirected to HTTPS.
- The SNMPv1/v2 default community strings “Private” and “Public” are not available in firmware version 2.0.7.4 or later versions. Before you update the firmware, set different community strings.
- In firmware version 2.0.7.4 or later versions, the authentication protocol for SNMPv3 automatically changes to “MD5” if the setting in the old firmware version is “None.”
- In firmware version 2.0.7.4 or later versions, the default setting for the Smart Control Center (SCC) management option changes from enabled to disabled. However, the SCC utility can still discover the switch.
- CAUTION: If you update model GS724TPv2 from firmware version 1.1.1.x to version 2.0.6.x, perform a series of updates in the following order:
- Update version 1.1.1.x.rom to version 1.1.50.39.rom
- Update version 2.0.0.16.img to version 2.0.6.x.bix
- Important: After you update the firmware from version 1.1.1.x to version 2.0.0.x, the existing switch configuration is erased.
Configuration files are not compatible between firmware version 1.x.x.x and version 2.x.x.x.

The released zip file contains the switch firmware and MIB files. Unzip the file to extract the switch image for firmware updating.
