Bug Fixes:
- Fixes the issue where an incorrect RP election occurs on an M4300 switch when a third-party switch is elected as the BSR in a mixed network.
- Fixes the issue where a crash occurs in a VRRP deployment.
- Fixes the issue where a file export fails when you use SFTP.
- Fixes the issue where the Main UI displays a generic VLAN name if the VLAN name contains a space in the configuration file.
- Fixes the issue where the bit rate displays incorrectly under the Port Statistics in the AV UI.
- Fixes the issue where a problem occurs with the restoration of a backup configuration in the AV UI.
- Fixes the issue where an incorrect port configuration displays when you invoke the
‘swcfg_port’ Rest API.
Known Issues:
In the main UI, the following issue can occur:
- After upgrading from firmware release 12.0.9.x to release 12.0.11.x or a later release, when you use the Main UI and you select Routing > Multicast > Mroute Static-Multicast Configuration, the page doesn’t display automatically.
Workaround: After the firmware upgrade, clear your browser cache.
In the AV UI, the following cosmetic issues can occur on the Configure > Multicast page:
- After configuring “Force Multicast” or “Block Multicast” for a LAG, the configuration is successfully applied to the switch, but no Force or Block icon displays on the LAG port.
- After configuring “Force Multicast” or “Block Multicast” on one or several ports of an
M4300-96X switch, the port status information (such as VLAN profiles, colors, and so on) no longer displays.
Workaround: Refresh the AV UI page.
Warnings:
- For user passwords, line passwords, and enable passwords that are encrypted with AES in firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases, automatic migration is supported to the more secure SHA512 in release 12.0.17.6 or later releases.
- User passwords, line passwords, and enable passwords that are encrypted with MD5 (salted) in firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases are not migrated to release 12.0.17.6 or later releases, so they must be set manually.
- SNMPv3 MD5 and SHA-based passwords from firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases are not migrated to release 12.0.17.6 or later releases, so they must be set manually.
