NETGEAR is aware of an Internet connectivity issue affecting some older cable products manufactured 5 or more years ago. This connectivity issue was not present prior to November 2023 and should not affect your device if you use Xfinity, Cox, or Spectrum as your cable Internet service provider (ISP). However, if you use one of the products listed on the following table and it suddenly stopped working in November 2023, your device might be affected.

How to use the table above to tell if your product is affected:

  1. Check to see if your product’s model number is on the table. If it is not present, your product is not affected by this issue.

    If your cable provider is Xfinity, Cox, or Spectrum, your product is not affected by this issue.

  2. Check to see if the first three alphanumeric characters of your product’s serial number match those listed.
  3. Check to see if the 5th digit of your product’s serial number matches one of the digits listed.

If the first three alphanumeric characters and 5th digit match those listed for your product number, your product is affected by this issue.
