If you are experiencing problems with your NETGEAR router, you might want to reboot it. Sometimes a reboot is all that’s needed to resolve basic connectivity issues. All of your router settings are saved when you reboot your router.
To power cycle or reboot your PR460X router with the power cable:
- Remove the power cable located on the back of the unit.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Power on your router by re-inserting the power cable.
To power cycle or reboot your PR460X router with the local interface:
- Launch a web browser from a device that is connected to your router's network.
- Enter https://www.routerlogin.net. Your browser might display a security message, which you can ignore.
A login window displays. - Enter your user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The Dashboard page displays. - In the Dashboard page, click the Reboot button.
