Warnings:
Read and follow these warnings before you update a firmware version that’s earlier than version 7.0.8.4 to version 7.0.8.4 or a later version:
- After you update the version to 7.0.8.4 or a later version, we recommend that you do not downgrade to version to 7.0.7.X or an earlier version.
- Because HTTPS is disabled by default since version 7.0.6.2, the device UI login page does not display automatically after you use HTTPS to update to version 7.0.8.4 or a later version. Open a new web browser tab and type the switch’s IP address to access the login page.
- After you manually enable HTTPS, if you access the device UI via HTTP, you are automatically redirected to HTTPS.
- The SNMPv1 and SNMPv2 default community strings Private and Public are not available in version 7.0.8.4 or a later version. We recommend that you set a different community string before updating the firmware.
- The authentication protocol for SNMPv3 automatically changes to MD5 if the current setting is None. After the firmware upgrade, reconfigure the authentication protocol for SNMPv3.
- The default setting for the Smart Control Center (SCC) management option changes from enabled to disabled. Note: The SCC Utility can still discover the switch.

Firmware Update Instructions:
The released zip file contains the switch firmware and MIB files. Unzip the file to extract the switch image for firmware updating.
