Enhancements:
- Maintains the LAG status of an Auto-LAG if only a single LAG member link is up.
- Adds a new profile: Waves Soundgrid.
- Changes the start time from 00 hours to 12 hours for configuration of the date and time.
- Allows you to configure an out of band (OOB) IP address without requiring a gateway IP address.
- Allows you to add a static route with a gateway IP address that is on a different subnet.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixes the issue where the switch becomes non-responsive to SNMP requests if a 40G transceiver module is plugged in.
- Fixes the issue where using HTTPS causes the switch to stop functioning.
- Fixes the login issue to the main UI when HTTP access is disabled.
- Fixes the issue in the AV UI where the SNTP server configuration is not retained after the switch reboots.
- Fixes the issue in the AV UI where the DHCP server configuration is affected in multiple profiles when you disable DHCP for a single profile.
- Fixes the issue in the AV UI where a global configuration change occurs when you disable the multicast mode.
- Fixes issue with system crash when creating multiple LAGs and VLANs.
Warnings:
- For user passwords, line passwords, and enable passwords that are encrypted with AES in firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases, automatic migration is supported to the more secure SHA512 in release 12.0.17.6 or later releases.
- User passwords, line passwords, and enable passwords that are encrypted with MD5 (salted) in firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases are not migrated to release 12.0.17.6 or later releases, so they must be set manually.
- SNMPv3 MD5 and SHA-based passwords from firmware release 12.0.15.7 or earlier releases are not migrated to release 12.0.17.6 or later releases, so they must be set manually.
Known Issues:
In the main UI, the following issue can occur:
- After upgrading from firmware release 12.0.9.x to release 12.0.11.x or later releases, when you use the main UI and you select Routing > Multicast > Mroute Static-Multicast Configuration, the page doesn’t display automatically.
Workaround: After the firmware upgrade, clear your browser cache.
In the AV UI, some cosmetic issues can occur on the Configure > Multicast page:
- After configuring “Force Multicast” or “Block Multicast” for a LAG, the configuration is successfully applied to the switch, but no Force or Block icon displays on the LAG port.
- After configuring “Force Multicast” or “Block Multicast” on one or several ports of an M4300-96X switch, the port status information (such as VLAN profiles, colors, and so on.) no longer displays.
Workaround: Refresh the AV UI page.
