The label on the back panel of your NETGEAR GS series smart switch might show an incorrect MAC address of 8C:3B:AD:70:9D:C0. This issue affects the following models built between August 2021 and April 2022:
- GS728TX
- GS728TXP
- GS748T
- GS752TX
- GS752TXP
You can find the correct MAC address in several ways:
- Check the label on your switch's bottom panel.
- Scan the MAC address barcode with a barcode scanner.
- Check the label on your switch's box.
- Use your switch's web interface to get the MAC address. For more information, see your switch's user manual.
