New Features:
- Auto-LAG support. Auto-LAG is a feature, which provides the ability to form dynamic PortChannel (also known as EtherChannel) automatically with neighboring M4300 series switches. Only one automatic EtherChannel will be created with each neighboring device. If a switch has connections to multiple switches then one automatic EtherChannel will be created with each neighboring switch. Auto-LAG is supported only for layer 2 EtherChannels.
- Auto-trunk support. Auto-trunk is a feature that provides the ability to automatically enable VLAN trunk mode (to carry all the active VLANs) on the physical links and LAG interfaces between M4300 series switches.
Bug Fixes:
- The configuration value for ‘igmp snooping membership interval' is lost after the switch reboots.
- The stack connection is unstable when QSFP-40G-SR-BD modules are used.
- On the M4300-52G switch, all the ports are down when the second mirror port is configured.
- With MAB configuration, when two or more devices are connected to a port, only one device gets authenticated.
- FAN failure logs are reported for GSM4352PS switches.
- After the switch reboots, 40G interfaces are coming up in 10G speed.
- In a stack topology, IGMP membership reports are not forwarded.
- Outbound MAC ACL rule allowing any traffic with a VLAN and COS value doesn’t work.
- M4300-48X switch unexpectedly reboots.
- Stacking using a 40G connection is unstable.
- Error message "Checkpoint message transmission to unit 2 failed” appears in a stacking environment.
- Various other stability improvements for stack topologies.
Known Issues:
- A new UI page added in the previous 12.0.11.x release under Routing > Multicast > Mroute Static-Multicast Configuration doesn’t display automatically after upgrading the switch firmware from 12.0.9.x to 12.0.11.x. Workaround: Clear the browser cache to view this newly added page.
