How do I add images or videos to a memory card for my Meural?

The Meural Canvas and Meural Canvas II both support memory cards. For more information about supported memory cards and file types, see Can I use a memory card with my Meural?.

Each memory card can support a maximum of four playlists. Each playlist can contain an unlimited number of images or videos.

To add images or videos to a memory card for your Meural:

  1. Make sure that your memory card is formatted in one of the following formats:
    • FAT32
    • exFAT
    • ext4
  2. Create up to four folders, one for each playlist, in the root directory of your memory card.
    The folders must be named meural1, meural2, meural3, and meural4. The folder names are case-sensitive. Each folder is its own playlist.
  3. Copy your images and videos into your chosen playlist folder.
    For example: The thumbnail for a file named italy.jpg must be named italy.jpg.thumb
    File names must be use only alphanumeric characters. Thumbnails must be 120 pixels x 68 pixels for horizontal images and 68 pixels x 120 pixels for vertical. Thumbnail names must be formatted as [filename].[filetype].thumb
  4. Insert your memory card into your Meural.

  5. Turn your Meural off and on again.
    Your Meural checks for new images and videos on memory cards when it restarts.
  6. Wave down to access the menu and select Browse.
    The new playlists display at the top.
