The NETGEAR Armor Vulnerability Assessment (VA) scan analyzes your network for security risks like weak passwords, outdated device firmware, or unsafe device or network settings.
You must upgrade to the latest firmware for the VA scan feature to function properly. The following table shows which products are affected and the minimum firmware version needed to ensure full Armor functionality.
Note: If your device is not listed but supports NETGEAR Armor, you don’t need to take any action.

Note: If you have an R7000, the latest firmware update is not available through the Nighthawk app or the Check Firmware Update feature in the router web interface. You must manually download the latest firmware (1.0.11.116). This firmware includes security and kernel panic fixes, and Armor VA scan updates.
