Depending on model and region, some NETGEAR products might include more than one plug adapter.
If your NETGEAR product includes more than one plug adapter, only use the adapter appropriate for your region and discard the adapters for other regions. Do not physically alter any of the included adapters. Follow these instructions to ensure both your safety and the expected operation of your NETGEAR product.
We recommend these tips to keep your plug adapters in good working order:
- Never use your device when moisture is present; this can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to your device.
- Always use your plug adapter in a well-ventilated area. If your adapter is used in a poorly-ventilated area like under a blanket or on a couch, the adapter might be damaged or damage your device.
- If your plug adapter has foldable blades or prongs, make sure that you fold them down to protect them during storage.
- Always hold on to the connector at the end of the cable when unplugging your plug adapter. Pulling on the cable itself can cause damage to the cable.
