New Features and Enhancements:
- New command to enable MLAG standalone mode
With standalone mode enabled, MLAG service on a single device can function normally without functional peer-link or keepalive message after the device reloads. Local MLAG interfaces are brought up after the specific standalone delay time.
To enable the MLAG standalone mode, it’s required to enable it and save the configuration in the startup configuration before you reload the device.
When the MLAG peer comes up after the local MLAG device enters standalone mode, the local MLAG device keeps Primary role to avoid unnecessary role change. MLAG peers work appropriately as normal two MLAG peer case.

Default Disable
Mode Global Config - New command to disable MLAG standalone mode.
Format no mlag standalone
Mode Global Config - New command to configure the delay time value (in seconds) before the device enters standalone mode.
After system boots, if a MLAG switch does not receive any keepalive message from peer for the duration of this delay value, it would enter standalone mode.
Format mlag standalone delay <60-1200>
Default 240
Mode Global Config - New command to reset the delay of the MLAG standalone mode to default value (240 seconds).

Mode Global Config - New information added in original “show mlag brief” command, to show MLAG standalone mode status.
