You can give more Internet time to your child using the Rewards feature in NETGEAR Smart Parental Controls (SPC).
To give more Internet time to your child, you must set an active time limit for that day. For more information about how to use the Time Limit feature, see How do I set up the Bedtime, Time Limit, and Off Time features in Smart Parental Controls?.
To give more Internet time to your child with NETGEAR SPC:
- Launch the Orbi app.
- Tap Parental Controls.
- Tap Reward on the profile to give more Internet time.
- Tap the Extend Time Limits Today dropdown list.
- Tap an active Time Limit to extend Internet access.
For example, to give your child more Internet access on the Facebook app, select the Facebook app from the list. - Choose how much Internet time to give to your child.
- Tap Save > Send.
That Time Limit is extended. If the My Time app installed on your child's device, they can see the time limit extension in the My Time dashboard.Your reward appears in the Rewards tab.
Note: If you already extended a Time Limit on that profile for the current day, a confirmation message displays. To extend an already extended Time Limit, tap the Rewards tab in your child's profile. Tap Daily Time Limits and choose an extension amount.
