The Orbi Pro WiFi 6 supports up to four individual wireless
networks (SSIDs) and virtual local area network (VLAN) management. Four individual SSIDs can
be used for administration, employees, guests, and IoT devices with separate and secure VLANs.
Customized network streams mean that you can limit user access by network and create data
separation for security.
Before you can assign a VLAN to your SSID, make sure that you set up your Orbi Pro WiFi 6. For more information, see How do I set up my Orbi Pro WiFi 6 network using Insight?.
To assign a VLAN to your SSID on your Orbi Pro WiFi 6:
- Launch a web browser from a computer that is connected to your Orbi network.
- Enter orbilogin.com.
A login window opens.
- Enter the router admin user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
- Select Advanced > Setup > Wireless Setup.
- Under Wireless Settings, select one of the three wireless profiles.
To change the VLAN assignment on the Guest Portal, Select Guest Portal.
- Select the VLAN Profile check box.
- Select the VLAN Profile drop-down menu.
- Select a VLAN.
- Click Apply.
The system reboots. After the system reboots, your settings are saved.
Your SSID is now assigned a VLAN.
