The Device Manager list displays all of the devices that are connected to your Nighthawk router or Orbi mesh system. This list also displays previously connected devices and devices that are currently offline. For example, if a guest connects their device to your Orbi network and then leaves your house, that device appears in the Device Manager list as offline. If that guest reconnects their device to your network, that device automatically appears online.

You can remove a device from the Device Manager list if it is no longer part of your network or if you don't want NETGEAR Smart Parental Controls to manage it.

To remove a device from the Device Manager list in the Orbi or Nighthawk app:

A device must be offline to remove it from the Device Manager list.

  1. Launch the Orbi or Nighthawk app.
  2. Tap the Device Manager tile.
A list of online and offline devices that are connected to your network displays.
  3. Select an offline device.
