Your Orbi router's configuration settings are stored within its configuration file. You can back up (save) this file to your computer, restore it, or reset it to the factory default settings.

To back up the router configuration settings:

  1. Launch a web browser from a computer that is connected to your Orbi's network.
  2. Enter orbilogin.net.
    A login screen displays.
  3. Enter the router user name and password.
    The BASIC home screen displays.
    The user name is admin. The password is the one that you created during the initial setup of your Orbi. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
  4. Click ADVANCED > Administration > Backup Settings.
  5. Click the Back Up button.

    Some browsers might warn you about downloading this type of file. Confirm that you want to save the file.

  6. Specify a location on your computer to save the file.
    Your Orbi router settings are backed up.
