To further secure your AirBridge Bundle devices, you need to connect to your AirBridge Bundle devices on the local browser UI and configure your Day Zero Easy Setup settings.
If your AirBridge Bundle device is connected to a network with a DHCP server, you cannot access the AirBridge at its default IP address of 192.168.0.100. The AirBridge Bundle device automatically obtains an IP address from the DHCP server, and you must use an IP scanning application to find its IP address.
- Connect your AirBridge Bundle master device to your network.
- Connect your AirBridge Bundle satellite to a detached site.
- Make sure that your AirBridge devices have good signal strength
or a good connection.

- Connect your computer to your AirBridge master's default
management WiFi network (SSID).
The default SSID is on the back of the AirBridge master. It is shown in the format NETGEARxxxxxx-SETUP, where xxxxxx represents the last six hexadecimal digits of the AirBridge’s MAC address. The default password can be found on the back of the label.
- Open a web browser.
- In the address bar, enter https://192.168.0.100.
If your browser displays a security message and does not let you proceed, see your user manual.
The Day Zero Easy Setup page displays.
- (Optional) Enter a new AirBridge name.
- Enter a local device password.
This is the password that you must use to log in to the AirBridge’s local browser UI. It is not the password that you use for WiFi access.
The password must be 8 to 32 characters in length and must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. The following special characters are allowed: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( )
- Enter a new passphrase (password) for the management
SSID.
This passphrase replaces the default passphrase (sharedsecret). The length of the passphrase must be between 8 and 63 characters.
- Select Apply.
After you save the basic settings, your AirBridge Bundle master device restarts.
A login page displays.
- Enter the AirBridge Bundle master's username, which is admin.
- Enter the new local device password that you created.
- Read NETGEAR's Terms and Conditions and select the check box.
- Click Login.
The AirBridge's Day Zero Easy Setup settings are configured.
To configure your wireless settings, see your user manual.
- Open a new web browser page.
- In the address bar, enter your AirBridge Bundle satellite's IP address.
- Repeat steps 7-14.
Your AirBridge Bundle devices are now secure.
