New Features and Enhancements:
This firmware provides the following new features:
- Changes to make the firmware compliant with KNSC (Korea National Security Compliance)
- Starting from this release (7.0.1.10) only signed firmware images are supported. Upgrading firmware directly from unsigned version (7.0.0.20 or prior versions) to signed version 7.0.1.x is not supported. Instead user has to upgrade to transition ONIE image first then to signed ONIE image version 7.0.1.x as shown below,
- Upgrade from unsigned firmware version 7.0.0.x to transition firmware version 7.0.1.6
- Upgrade from transition firmware version 7.0.1.6 to signed firmware version 7.0.1.x
As of this release transition firmware image version is 7.0.1.6. Transition firmware image provides options to upgrade to signed or unsigned firmware image as shown below. Transition firmware shouldn’t be used for production. In the transition firmware “with verification” refers to signed firmware image and “without verification” refers to unsigned firmware image.

Enter your menu option:
- No clear text display of user password when the user is configuring it.
- Added a new configuration command to set in-memory logging threshold.
- In-memory logs are accessible only to Read-Write users and not to Read-only users.
- Added a new command to show firmware image upgrade history.
- When the user authentication has failed log a message with IP address of the user.
- Support POST (Power On Self-Test) diagnostic tests.
- Support PTP end to end transparent clock
- Support Auto Negotiation for 100G, 40G, 25G interface types.
Bug Fixes:
- Avoid wrong firmware image installation by doing firmware image compatibility with the hardware model.
