No. NETGEAR Armor is not supported while your Orbi or Nighthawk router is in AP mode. The Armor tile is not visible in the Orbi or Nighthawk app while your router is in AP mode.
When your router is in AP mode, it acts as a gateway for other devices to connect to. For example, setting your NETGEAR router in AP mode broadcasts the WiFi of your existing networking hardware.
