How do I set up an Orbi Wall Mount Kit for my Orbi device without mounting holes?

Most WiFi 6E and earlier generation Orbi WiFi systems work with the Orbi Wall Mount Kit (RBKWM), which means it needs to be configured slightly differently depending on the Orbi device. The configuration your device requires depends on if it has two mounting holes on the bottom as shown below:

The following instructions show you how to set up an Orbi Wall Mount Kit for your Orbi device without mounting holes. If your Orbi device has two mounting holes on the bottom, see How do I set up an Orbi Wall Mount Kit for my Orbi device with mounting holes?.

To set up a Wall Mount Kit for your Orbi device without mounting holes:

Detach the wall mount cover from the wall mount bracket.
Screw the wall mount bracket to a wall with the two included wall anchors.

You can only install the wall mount vertically on a wall. Do not install the wall mount horizontally or on the ceiling.
Optional: If you have a smaller Orbi device, adjust the arms of the cradle inward.
Attach the cradle to the wall mount cover with the two included screws.
Attach the wall mount cover to the wall mount bracket on the wall.
Seat your Orbi device in the cradle of the wall mount.
