The 1-year Armor subscription that comes with your NETGEAR, Nighthawk, or Orbi product provides cybersecurity features like automatic security updates and network vulnerability scans. For more information, see What features does NETGEAR Armor offer?.
After the 1-year subscription expires, you must purchase a subscription in order to continue using Armor's cybersecurity technology. If you purchase a subscription before the 1-year period expires, you are not charged until the 1-year period ends.
The MK63S comes with a 90-day subscription of NETGEAR Armor. For instructions about how to purchase a subscription after the trial-period ends, see How do I subscribe to NETGEAR Armor after my free trial expires?.
To purchase Armor for your NETGEAR, Nighthawk or Orbi product after the 1-year subscription expires:
- Launch the Nighthawk or Orbi app.
- Tap Security.
Armor detects that your subscription is expired and a screen displays with subscription information. - Tap Confirm.
- Provide the required payment information.
- Tap the confirmation button at the bottom of your screen to confirm your purchase.
Note: It might take 24 to 48 hours for Armor activation to take effect.
You can also purchase Armor by tapping the
