New Features and Enhancements:
- To comply with California state law, the switch now requires that you change the default admin password after using the password to access the local browser UI.
- Added a new option under Security > Management Security > SCC Control to disable or enable Smart Control Center (SCC). It is set to Disable by default.
(Note: The SCC Utility can still discover the switch even if the SCC option is disabled. If you cannot see this new option, refresh your browser or clear its temporary Internet files/cache.)
Known Issues:
- The Registration page displays again after a reboot even if it was turned off before.
Workaround: Close the registration window, or register the device. - The GUI freezes when the HTTPS session times out while using IE11.0.
Workaround: Use another browser, or refresh the whole page after timeout. - If the connecting partner device is 1000M, the port speed on partner device displays as 10 Mbps after disabling the port on the XS728T/XS748T.
Workaround: Unplug the cable. - When configuring the management VLAN other than VLAN 1, the default static IP (192.168.0.239) becomes 0.0.0.0
Workaround: Use DHCP or assign a valid static IP address.
Limitations :
- The cable test is effective for copper ports linked at 10G speed with Cat5e cables. With other link speeds and cable types, the results might not be as accurate.
- If updating firmware using a USB device, the USB device must support the FAT32 file type. The NTFS file type is NOT supported.
