New Features and Enhancements:
- Supports RFC3621 PoE MIB.
- New optional Registration Key to register the device.
- New reset factory default option to clear previous registration information from the device.
- To enhance security, the default password must be changed when you log in to the switch for the first time.
- SNMPv1/v2 community string “Private” and “Public” are no longer allowed.
- SNMPv3 authentication protocol must be configured as MD5 or SHA.
Bug Fixes:
- String from another SNMP MIB object no longer overwrites the string content of entPhysicalEntry.
- SNMP dot1qTpFdbPort now correctly shows port 1 as the management address instead of the CPU.
- Fixed issue causing 10-minute lag for switches to come online from Insight cloud.
Warnings:
- The existing SNMPv1/v2 community string “Private” and “Public” are deleted during upgrade to new firmware, so please change the string before updating.
- If SNMPv3 authentication protocol is “None” before updating the firmware, then MD5 is applied automatically after upgrade.
- Changes the default setting for Smart Control Center (SCC) management from enabled to disabled. Note: The SCC Utility can still discover the switch.
