Note: If you plan to upgrade to a firmware version that supports Insight APP or cloud management (starting with version v2.0.0.xx), you must first upgrade to this firmware version or later (starting from 1.1.50.xx).
New Features and Enhancements:
- For enhanced security, the default “password” must be changed when you log in to the switch for the first time.
- To configure SNMPv3, the Authentication Protocol must be configured as MD5 or SHA. The ‘none’ option for Authentication Protocol is no longer allowed.
Bug Fixes:
- When Daylight Saving (DST) in System > Management > Time > Daylight Saving Configuration is set to Recurring for a specified day and time, the Daylight Saving in Effect field now displays the correct status.

The released zip contains the switch firmware (GS724TPv2-V1.1.50.39.stk). Unzip the file to extract the switch image for firmware updating.
