No, you must enable 160 MHz channel bandwidth for the 5G-2 WiFi band in the router web interface.
In order to provide a balance between optimal WiFi performance and coverage, the 5G-2 WiFi band of your RAX200 operates in 80 MHz by default.
See the following steps for instructions on how to enable 160 MHz channel bandwidth.
Note: Enabling 160 MHz channel bandwidth forces the 5G-2 band to operate in DFS channels. As a result, you might be unable to manually select a WiFi channel. [DS1] For more information about DFS channels, see What is Dynamic Frequency Selection and how does it work with my NETGEAR router?.
To enable 160 MHz channel bandwidth for the 5G-2 band of your RAX200:
- Launch a web browser from a computer that is connected to your router’s network.
- Enter http://www.routerlogin.net.
A login window opens. - Enter the router user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays. - Select Wireless.
The Wireless Setup page displays. - Under the Mode option in the Wireless Network (5GHz-2 a/n/ac/ax) section, select Up to 4800 Mbps.
