You will notice that during Daylight Saving Time, the System Time and Local time of your cable modem router may have a difference of one hour.
Cable Modem Routers use the time provided from the service providers and some of them may only supply standard time. This affects the scheduling feature during Daylight Saving Time.
- System Time is the time given by service providers to your Cable Modem Router and is only in Standard Time format.
- Local Time is the time followed in your time zone.
Since most users configure the scheduling feature based on Local Time, they may encounter scheduling issues during the said period. In order to avoid this, you may need to adjust the schedule during this time period.
