NETGEAR Armor sends you notifications about firmware updates, vulnerability scans, and the security of your network and devices.
To receive these notifications, you must download and install the Nighthawk or Orbi app, depending on the device that you want to receive notifications from. You can download the Nighthawk or Orbi app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store using the following links:

A prompt to enable push notifications displays when you first launch the app. If you previously launched the app and disabled this option, proceed to the “To receive notifications from NETGEAR Armor if you disabled push notifications” section.
To receive notifications from NETGEAR Armor if you are using the Nighthawk or Orbi app for the first time:
- Launch the Nighthawk or Orbi app from a mobile device that is connected to your router’s network.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions.
A prompt to enable push notifications for the Nighthawk or Orbi app displays. - Select Enable Push Notifications.
Your settings are saved and you receive notifications from NETGEAR Armor. - Activate NETGEAR Armor for your device.

To receive notifications from NETGEAR Armor if you disabled push notifications:
