Use the following steps to move your current Circle Smart Parental Controls subscription to a new NETGEAR router. Before proceeding, make sure that you have the Circle app downloaded on your mobile device.
For iOS
Follow these steps if you have purchased a Circle Smart Parental Controls subscription using an iOS app.
- Set up your new router.
- Make sure that you are signed in to the same Apple ID on the same iOS device that you purchased your Circle Smart Parental Controls subscription with.
- Using the Nighthawk app, enable Circle on your new router.

The home screen displays. - Tap the Gift icon to go to the subscription section for Circle Smart Parental Controls.
- Above the Start 1-month trial option, tap Restore Purchase.
Your Circle Smart Parental Controls subscription is transferred to your new router.
For Android
Follow these steps if you have purchased a Circle Smart Parental Controls subscription using an Android app.
- Launch the Google Play Store app from your Android device.
- Tap the Menu icon on the top left of your screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Circle.
- Cancel the subscription renewal for your Circle Smart Parental Controls subscription.
- Uninstall the Circle app from your device and reinstall a new version.
- Set up your new router.
- Using the Nighthawk app, enable Circle Smart Parental Controls on your new router.

- Tap the Gift icon to go to the subscription section for Circle Smart Parental Controls and start your subscription again.
Your Circle Smart Parental Controls subscription is transferred to your new router.
