To control your Meural with your Alexa, you must first enable the Meural skill in the Alexa app. Skills can be found in the Alex app under More > Skills & Games. You can also enable the Meural skill by visiting amazon.com/Meural/dp/B07CHVNTMF.
After the skill is enabled, the following verbal commands are available:
- “Alexa, next on Canvas."
Your Meural displays the next image or video in the current playlist. - "Alexa, previous on Canvas."
Your Meural displays the previous image or video in the current playlist. - "Alexa, turn on Canvas."
Your Meural turns on. - "Alexa, turn off Canvas."
Your Meural turns off. - "Alexa, set Canvas to 50 percent"
This sets your Meural’s brightness.
For the percentage, say any number from 0 to 100.
If you have more than one Meural, each Meural is automatically named “Canvas 1,” “Canvas 2,” etc. You must use this name when using the voice commands above.
If you named your Meural in the Alexa app, you can use that name when using the commands above. To change the name of your Meural in the Alexa app, see Edit Your Device Name on the Amazon website.
