New features and enhancements:
- Config backup/restore through the Insight app and Cloud portal
- Supports the Orbi Pro ceiling SRC60 satellite
- Adds a GUI option to disable the WPS Sync button after the satellite is set up
- Adds a GUI option to turn the LED on or off.
Bug fixes:
- Fixes the Guest Portal page display issue for some device clients.
- Fixes the Internet detection issue with PPPoE.
- Fixes the issues related to the firmware update through the Insight app and Cloud portal when the satellite is connected to router
Known Issues:
- The Orbi Pro is discoverable from the Insight app only when the mobile device is connected to the router SSID.
Workaround: If the Insight app fails to discover the Orbi Pro router on the network, try one of following:
- Move closer to router and disconnect and connect back to router.
- Add the serial number with QR code or manually type in the serial number.
- When editing particular SSID configurations, the wireless clients and Orbi Pro satellite associated to any of the SSIDs is disconnected momentarily and connects back to Orbi Pro.
- If the Orbi Pro is in AP mode, traffic details are not properly updated.
Firmware Update Instructions:
If the Orbi Pro is connected to the Insight cloud, perform a firmware update through the firmware schedule policy, or perform a manual device firmware update using the Insight app or local web GUI.
To update the Orbi Pro firmware from the local web GUI, follow the instructions in your product’s user manual. To find your user manual, visit https://www.netgear.com/support/, enter your model number in the search box, and click the Documentation button on the product page.
After updating to the latest firmware, make sure to update to the latest version of the NETGEAR Insight app for the best functionality and user experience.
