To view the voice status of your cable telephony modem:
- Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your network.
- Enter http://192.168.100.1.
A login window displays. - Enter the modem user name and password.
Note: The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays. - Select Voice > Voice Status.
The following information displays:
- MTA Provision Status. This is the current MTA (Multimedia Terminal Adaptor) provision state. The following table shows each possible provision status:

- MTA MAC Address. This is the MAC address of the MTA interface.
- MTA Telephony Line 1 and Line 2 Status. These are the hook states of line 1 and line 2. The possible states of the telephone lines are off hook or on hook.
- MTA Line 1 and Line 2 HD Audio Status. These are the MTA HD audio status of telephone lines 1 and 2. This option will show one of the following:
- Enable – The line is capable of using G. 722 (HD quality).
- Disable – The line is not capable of using G. 722.
