Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the issue where the BR500 fails to connect to the Insight cloud under certain rare conditions
- Fixed the issue where the BR500 fails to establish an Insight VPN
- Fixed the issue where the Insight app and/or Insight web portal fails to display the correct VPN status
- Fixed the issue where the BR500 fails to retain settings over reboot or power cycle
Known Issues:
- The BR500 GUI cannot be reached through VPN, through a static route from a different subnet, or by LAN users from a different VLAN other than the default management LAN (VLAN 1). Workaround: Access the GUI from the BR500 default management LAN.
Firmware Update Instructions:
If the BR500 is connected to the Insight cloud, schedule or perform an update using the Insight app or through the web portal. To update the BR500 firmware from the web GUI, follow the instructions in your product’s user manual. To find your user manual, visit https://www.netgear.com/support/, enter your model number in the search box, and click the Documentation button on the product page.
