NETGEAR routers are able to detect any devices connected to your network and instantly display their name in the NETGEAR Armor portal. By default, all of the devices that are connected to your network are protected when Armor is activated. You can also use the NETGEAR Armor app on up to 50 devices that run Windows, Mac OS, Android, or iOS.
Devices are grouped into the following categories:
- All
- Smart Home Devices
- Mobile Devices
- Computers
The device detection feature is able to identify the operating systems (OS) of the devices. Each device is placed in the appropriate category based on its OS.
