NETGEAR Armor protects all of the devices on your network from security weak points. Armor protects your devices from viruses, spyware, hackers, and phishing.
Antivirus software only protects the device that the antivirus software is installed on, and typically only protects devices from viruses and spyware.
If you use the NETGEAR Armor app, you do not also need to use antivirus software. The Armor app extends the protection of NETGEAR Armor to your client devices (smartphones, laptops, smart devices) and eliminates the need for antivirus software.
