Admin credentials
Your admin credentials are specific to your NETGEAR device and allow you to securely log in and make changes to its settings. The username is always admin, though you can change the password. For more information about admin credentials, see the following articles:

WiFi network credentials
Your WiFi network credentials are specific to your home network and allow you to connect your WiFi devices to the Internet. WiFi network credentials include a WiFi network name (SSID) and password. You can change your WiFi network’s SSID and password from the Nighthawk app, the Orbi app, or from your router’s web interface. MyNETGEAR account
Your MyNETGEAR account is used across all NETGEAR apps and services. A MyNETGEAR account allows you to register NETGEAR products, post to the NETGEAR Community, and receive email support and product offers.
