In ReadyNAS OS 6.9.3, ReadyTiVo supports communication to newer TiVo systems with fast transport. Fast transport greatly increases the speed between TiVo and the ReadyNAS and should be used when experiencing slow speed.
Enabling Fast Transport for ReadyTiVo
- Navigate to your ReadyNAS Admin Page
- Go to System > Settings, and click ReadyDLNA.
- With Enable ReadyDLNA checked, change the TiVo Server option to Enabled with Fast Transport.
- Click Apply to confirm the change.
