To see which port is using the most bandwidth on the Gaming Dashboard of your GS810EMX:
- Open a web browser on a computer that is connected to the same network as your GS810EMX switch.
- Enter your switch’s IP address in the address bar of your web browser, or use a saved bookmark to access your switch.
For more information, see How do I access my GS810EMX Nighthawk Pro Gaming Switch on a computer?. - Enter your administrator password and press Enter.
The default password is password.
The HOME page displays. - From the top menu, select GAMING to access your Gaming Dashboard.
- In the top right corner of the UPLOAD · TIMELINE and DOWNLOAD · TIMELINE graphs, select 5m, 30m, 1h, or 10h to view upload and download information for the past 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 10 hours.
The graphs are color-coded by port. - If the color-coded line for one port is significantly higher than the lines for the other ports, especially if it is higher on both the upload and download graphs, that port is using the most bandwidth.
- If you are experiencing lag, stuttering, or other network problems, consider turning on flow control for the port using the most bandwidth, using a preset mode, or changing the priority of your switch ports.
You can turn on flow control from the PORT STATUS menu on your switch’s home page.
You can select a preset mode from the SETTINGS > PRESET MODES page.
