Half-duplex mode is obsolete and we recommend that you do not use it. Some legacy equipment might require half-duplex mode.
When using half-duplex mode on your M4300-series switch, note the following:
- M4300-28G (GSM4328S) supports half-duplex mode on ports 1 to 16 only.
- M4300-28G-PoE+ (GSM4328PS) supports half-duplex mode on ports 1 to 16 only.
- M4300-52G (GSM4352S) supports half-duplex mode on ports 1 to 16 and ports 25 to 40 only.
- M4300-52G-PoE+ (GSM4352PS) supports half-duplex mode on ports 1 to 16 and ports 25 to 40 only.
- M4300-96X (XSM4396S) does not support 100M half-duplex mode using the APM408C and APM408P port cards.
