If you live in Malaysia and use Unifi or Maxis as your Internet service provider (ISP), you must set up a bridge for a VLAN tag group to use your Orbi WiFi System.
Before setting up a bridge for a VLAN tag group, make sure that you Orbi WiFi System is running firmware version 1.5.0.12 or later. For more information, visit How do I manually update the firmware on my Orbi WiFi System?.
To set up a bridge for a VLAN tag group:
- Launch web browser from a mobile device that is connected to your router’s network.
- Enter orbilogin.com.
A login window opens. - Enter the router user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays. - Select ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > VLAN/Bridge Settings.
- Select the Enable VLAN/Bridge Group check box.
The page expands. - Select the By VLAN tag group radio button.
The selection expands. - Click the Add button.
The Add VLAN Rule page displays. - Specify the following settings:
ISP
Internet VLAN ID
Internet VLAN Priority
IPTV VLAN ID (Astro)
IPTV VLAN Priority
Unifi

- Click the Add button.
The VLAN tag group is added. - Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
