The front USB 2.0 port on your ReadyNAS 102, 104, or 2120 is not compatible with SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 USB drives. Your ReadyNAS storage system might freeze or hang if you insert a SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 USB drive into the front USB port.
However, the USB 3.0 ports on the rear panel of your ReadyNAS are compatible with USB 3.0 drives, including SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 drives.
If you own SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 USB drives, NETGEAR recommends using a different USB drive with your ReadyNAS 102, 104, or 2120 storage system storage system or using the rear USB 3.0 ports on your ReadyNAS storage system.
