ReadyDR works by taking snapshots from a Share or LUN and copies them to a ReadyDR share. The destination must always be a ReadyDR share.
- Navigate to the Admin Page
- Click the Backup tab
- If ReadyDR is not already turned on, toggle it on.
- If you're using a version before ReadyNAS OS 6.9, ensure you've done the key exchange; otherwise continue.
- Create a new ReadyDR job by clicking the Add ReadyDR job button.
- Enter a name for the job.
- Decide on the job type you wish to perform. See the ReadyDR: Job Directions article for more information.
It is recommended to create a new ReadyDR share for each ReadyDR job.
- After configuring the job to suit your needs, click Next.
- Configure your ReadyDR job options
- Once you've configured your job options, click Finish.
The job will work based on the Backup Schedule configured for the source Share or LUN.
