This article provides links to Apple documentation that describes how you can change your TCP/IP address, DNS server, or proxy server settings on a Mac. The documentation is for MacOS Sequoia 15. The steps for older versions might differ slightly.
- TCP/IP address settings: If you are trying to access the user interface (UI) of a NETGEAR router, switch, access point, or other device for the first time, you might need to temporarily change the TCP/IP settings on your Mac.
