This article describes how to use the ReadyCLOUD app for Android to access shares on your ReadyNAS remotely.

You must first configure ReadyCLOUD on the ReadyNAS.

Once ReadyCLOUD has been configured on the ReadyNAS, configure ReadyCLOUD on your Android device.
This guide is based on ReadyCLOUD app version 1.2.4 running on Android version 5.1.1.
- Install ReadyCLOUD from the Google Play Store and launch it.

Enter your MyNETGEAR username and password and click Sign On.
The app connects and displays the ReadyNAS devices to which your MyNETGEAR account has access.
- Tap the ReadyNAS to which you want to connect.
You are presented with the list of available shares (note that SMB access must be enabled on the shares for them to be accessible via the ReadyCLOUD mobile app).
- Tap the share that you want to access.
If your account has access rights, you see the contents of the share.
- To open a file, tap the three blue circle icons to the right of the file.

At the prompt, tap the Open button.
The file displays.
