When you set up your NETGEAR router to block Internet sites or web services, you can optionally set up a blocking schedule instead of blocking sites and services continuously. When you schedule blocking, your router uses the same schedule to block both Internet sites and services.

To set up a blocking schedule on your NETGEAR router from the router web interface:
- Launch a web browser from a device that is connected to your router's network.
- Enter www.routerlogin.net.
A login window displays. - Enter your user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page or Dashboard displays. - Select ADVANCED > Security > Schedule.
Some models might have slightly different navigation, like Settings > Content Filtering > Schedule. - Specify when to block keywords and services:
- Days to Block: Select individual days to block keywords and services or select Every Day to block all days.
- Time of day to block: Select a start and end time in 24-hour format or select All Day for 24-hour blocking.
- From the drop-down menu, select your Time Zone.
- If your region observes Daylight Saving Time, select Automatically adjust for daylight savings time.
- Click or tap Apply.
Your settings are saved.
